One of the biggest concerns is that a parent or loved one may not be taking their medications as prescribed. Quite often, medications are not taken properly due to memory loss. Medications can be forgotten to be taken or quite the opposite, taken more than required, which can cause great concern and lead to other problems. Our caregivers will ensure that each client is taking medications properly and will remind them accordingly.

Upon the initial assessment, our Care Manager will design a medication chart that will include all medications doses and frequencies. Care givers will document and list in the client’s chart the times medications were taken.

Horizon Senior Services

We understand that maintaining good personal hygiene can be a difficult task to perform when recuperating from a medical condition or faced with limited mobility. The fear of falling can cause a senior to become reluctant to activities such as bathing, showering and dressing.

Our caregivers are professionals that will respect your privacy and encourage. Independence as much as possible. We match our caregivers to your needs to ensure that your caregiver is someone you can trust.
